"Many remote places on the reservation inspire me. One of them is Sunset Mesas, north of Leupp, Arizona, my father called it where the children sit. He’d point out shapes in the mesas that look like children gathered to hear a story. You can’t see that in a photo; you must stand there and feel it.”
