NDN GIRLS BOOK CLUB
NDN Girls Book Club, founded by Kinsale Drake (Diné) and Lily Painter (Kiowa/Winnebago), is a 501(c)3 nonprofit run by Indigenous women, youth, and educators dedicated to uplifting Indigenous authors and distributing books for free to youth and families. In 2024, Book Club distributed 10,200 free books on the Navajo and Hopi Nations with the SBi Giving Foundation during their Yiłta! (I read it!) Book Drop. In 2025, NDN Girls Book Club distributed over 6,000 free books by Indigenous authors to Tlingit & Haida villages in Southeast Alaska. Book Club is currently distributing more than 8,500 free books in Oklahoma across Indian Country during their 2026 Book Festival. Additionally, Book Club sends out free care packages to youth, distributes free zines and books at community events, and uplifts Indigenous booksellers and presses. Their efforts have been highlighted by the Washington Post, Ben and Jerry’s, Teen Vogue, Yahoo!, and more. Learn more at www.ndngirlsbookclub.org.
100% of the profit from this collaboration goes directly to NDN Girls Book Club.

“This collection is helping us raise funds for our bookmobile to serve as many communities as we possibly can. We wanted to create a collection memorable for folks to feel like they’re a part of our journey.”
